Sambonet Taste cutlery: pared-back design and PVD finishes
Taste is the Sambonet Centro Stile cutlery collection recognisable by its gently twisted teardrop shape, designed for everyday use. Made from 18/10 stainless steel, it is available in a mirror-polished finish and in a range of PVD finishes that change the character of the same shape.
The teardrop design by Sambonet Centro Stile
The Taste design is minimalist: no decoration, a single teardrop twist running from the handle to the head. The shape makes the grip comfortable and balanced at the table and keeps the collection consistent with a contemporary setting, from daily meals to special occasions.
18/10 stainless steel and PVD finishes
18/10 stainless steel delivers durability, corrosion resistance and a brightness that lasts; the table knives are monobloc, forged from a single piece of steel, for a solid feel in the hand. Beyond the mirror-polished finish, PVD technology introduces Black, Gold and Copper, along with Vintage PVD Copper, with its aged effect reminiscent of copperware, and Antique PVD Champagne, where a subtle texture gives the slightly gilded steel a matte effect that is pleasant to the touch.
The Taste range: pieces, sets and everyday use
The Taste range covers the whole table setting: table spoons and forks, monobloc table knives, teaspoons, espresso spoons, pastry forks and serving cutlery. The same pieces are offered in sets of different compositions, up to the complete 38-piece service for six with serving pieces, packaged in separate boxes for the table service, pastry forks, espresso spoons and serving cutlery. Because the same shape is available in different finishes, the collection can be built up over time and combined by mixing polished steel with PVD tones.
