FAQ – San Marco Cutlery Sambonet

San Marco is a historic Sambonet cutlery collection, reissued today through a faithful reconstruction of the original design held in the 1948 moulds.
The design draws on the 18th-century Venice Lagoon tradition. It is recognisable by the "rat-tail" relief on the back of the spoon and fork bowls, the knife with its sabre-shaped blade and pistol-grip handle, and the table fork, also available in the original three-prong version.
The collection comes in 18/10 stainless steel, in PVD Gold and Antique PVD Champagne finishes, and in a silver-plated version.
Sets come in 24, 36 and 72 pieces, with a solid handle or a hollow Orfèvre handle. Every piece is also available individually.
San Marco accompanies Sambonet's 170th anniversary: an archive design back in production from the original moulds the company still holds.
