VINTAGE ON 18 / 10 STAINLESS STEEL

The captivating Vintage surface is a tribute to Sambonet’s

great and iconic design projects. It uses a special

craftsman finish technique on the surface of the stainless steel cutlery. Through a series of industrial scraping processes, surfaces assume an original and intentionally “worn out” effect, introducing a new and fascinating ambiance at the table and a new trend for contemporary interior design.

Physical vapour deposition

PVD ON 18 / 10 STAINLESS STEEL

PVD, which stands for Physical Vapour Deposition, gives the objects exceptional colours and shades. It consists of the deposition of metallic particles through vaporization in a vacuum chamber. The coating is welded on an atomic level to the stainless steel, giving the material greater hardness and resistance to rubbing and corrosion, thereby preventing the formation of rust or oxides. This is the result of a technological research, along with the

endless experience in producing stainless steel that is in Sambonet’s DNA.

Four colours: Black, Copper, Gold, Champagne.

Engraving:

The customization process is performed through two types of engraving. A laser technology is used on the stainless steel collections, where a beam of light burns the surface and gives life to each design. The pantograph is used for silver or goldplated objects, that acts through the pressure of a diamond point. Add a special date, a monogram or a symbol: makes your cutlery unique.

Delivery

1. The delivery deadlines are indicated as accurately as possible but they depend upon the procurement and transportation conditions of Sambonet Paderno Industrie S.p.A., which undertakes to apply the utmost diligence in order to respect the deliveries, subject to causes of force majeure.

2. If the planned delivery deadlines are exceeded, Sambonet Paderno Industrie S.p.A. shall not be required to pay any penalty, damages compensation or interest.

3. Any change to the order will lead to a consequent change to the delivery date.

4. The following are considered to be causes of force majeure, which release Sambonet Paderno Industrie S.p.A. from the delivery obligation: war, revolt, fire, strikes, impossibility of procurement, particularly significant incidents involving equipment, machine breakdowns, interruption or delay in transportation.

Important notice

The perception of colour may be subjective, in function of geometries, dimensions, finishes, and lighting in the environment. The products subject to PVD processing may manifest slight chromatic variations or diversities between different models, series or batches of the same product. These variations are acceptable if within the established tolerance limits, which are strictly monitored.
